- Almost half of US states are seeing higher rates of new Covid-19 cases as Americans go out to socialize or protest. Nearly 2 million total cases have been recorded nationwide.
- Coronavirus is in retreat across the UK, the health secretary said. However, he warned the government will take local action where there are "flare ups and outbreaks."
