Global News 17日讯：周二上午，美国举行了自半个多世纪以来第一次关于不明飞行物的公开听证会。听证会是在一份报告揭示美军飞行员自 2004 年以来遇到超过 144 个不明飞行物近一年后举行的。

美国情报报告只能将其中一种“无法解释的空中现象”（UAP）——这是军方对不明飞行物的更新术语——识别为一个大的泄气气球。至于其他143起事件，报告称需要进一步研究。报告称，大多数 UAP 很可能是物理对象。
