加拿大央行预计于今日宣布提高基准利率，这将是今年连续第五次加息。

一些加拿大银行预计，央行将把关键利率上调0.75个百分点，至3.25%。

加息将影响其他贷款利率，使加拿大人和企业的借贷成本更高。

与全球其他国家的央行一道，加拿大央行一直在提高利率，为居高不下的通胀降温。

7月份加拿大的年通胀率为7.6%，远高于2%的目标。
