约克区30间学校由本周开始，在12月，进行无症状检测。至于18岁以下的学生，如果要进行检测，须获得家长或监护人的同意。所有在学校进行的检测，都会在放课后才进行，将使用唾液测试，这是一种比典型的鼻咽拭子侵入性小的测试方式，但准确性相当高。
