- The numbers: Covid-19 has infected more than 2.4 million people and killed at least 165,000 worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins University. More than 40,000 people have died in the US alone.
- President backs protesters: US President Donald Trump said that protesters who gathered in several US states to oppose stay-at-home orders were "great people."
- US medical supplies: Trump said he plans to use the Defense Production Act to help with the production of swabs for tests.
- Trump and China: The President also said the US still wants investigators to go to China to investigate the virus outbreak.
